Position: Clinical Professional - Medical Management/Health Services
Position Purpose:
- Review medical records to identify potential quality of care incidents
- Apply clinical criteria to determine if there was a lack of care
- Provide a summary of findings and severity level to physicians
- Compile a timeline and incident summary for presentation to the medical director
- May participate in peer review committee actions or next steps
- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and clinical protocols
Educational Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Nursing (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred)
Experience:
- 3+ years of nursing or related healthcare experience
License/Certification:
- RN/LCSW (required)
- CPHQ (preferred)
