Job Description
At MassMutual, we are seeking a talented Informatica Power Center and MDM Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and measuring complex data processes to master data for different domains within MassMutual. You will collaborate with project teams to implement data solutions that meet specific business needs. Your Responsibilities: Design and Development:- Create and evaluate data integration tasks to consolidate data from various sources into a reliable data repository.
- Develop Master Data Management (MDM) solutions for different domains within MassMutual.
- Provide comprehensive support for MDM solutions, including data ingestion, master record creation, outbound data extracts, and API integration.
- Establish data modeling policies, procedures, processes, and standards.
- Assist in documenting technical data, system flows, database design, and other relevant information.
- Ensure data accuracy by setting up data quality benchmarks and implementing tools/processes.
- Conduct data profiling and perform analysis of source system data.
- Collaborate with various departments to understand emerging data patterns.
- Translate high-level business needs into technical specifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience with Informatica Power Center.
- At least 3 years of coding and scripting experience (Python, Java, Scala).
- Experience with Informatica MDM platform in customer/party subject area.
- Strong data analytics, data modeling, and database design skills.
- Experience with ELT methodologies and tools.
- Expertise in tuning and troubleshooting SQL.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Authorized to work in the USA with or without sponsorship.
- Master’s degree in computer science or engineering.
- Familiarity with agile project delivery process.
- Experience with Python and Kafka.
- Knowledge of SQL and use in data access and analysis.
- Ability to manage diverse projects impacting multiple roles and processes.
- Experience with database technologies (Vertica, Redshift, etc.).
- Experience designing and implementing automated ETL processes.
