Job Expectations: - Maintain a courteous and professional attitude towards co-workers, customers, vendors, and the community. - Follow CSI image standards by maintaining a neat appearance and good personal hygiene. - Prioritize safety and security by adhering to established guidelines, policies, and procedures. Report any incidents immediately. - Utilize the CSI Loss Prevention process to ensure the safety of yourself and others in the workplace. - Follow food safety and hygiene protocols, including proper sanitation, food handling, preparation, storage, and disposal procedures. - Adhere to federal laws and company standards regarding age-restricted products. - Work professionally with vendors and contractors. - Punctuality and regular attendance are expected. - Follow kitchen and sanitation procedures according to city and county regulations when cooking KKC products. Essential Functions: - Provide exceptional guest service by being courteous, greeting all customers, and thanking them while making eye contact. - Conduct accurate and safe point-of-sale activities, including retail and fuel sales transactions. - Manage cash drawer securely and perform cashier reconciliation at the end of each shift. - Maintain cleanliness of indoor and outdoor facilities, including restrooms, islands, pumps, and the car wash. - Prepare and monitor food and beverage products to maximize sales and minimize loss. - Actively promote store specials and other marketing programs. - Cross-check the accuracy of delivered goods. - Ensure shelves are stocked, and products are displayed properly. - Follow local law requirements when fueling vehicles. - May perform other duties as assigned by management. Requirements/Qualifications: - Available to work various hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays. - Strong attention to detail. - Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and judgement. - Ability to work independently and in team settings. - Must possess up-to-date food handling certificates (in specific locations only). - Cooking/restaurant experience preferred. Supervisor Responsibilities: - This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Travel: - Rare, limited to required training and coverage for nearby stations. Physical Demands Include but are not limited to: - Ability to stand and walk for long periods on various surfaces. - Ability to lift and move products using proper techniques. - Krispy Krunchy Chicken procedures require constant standing, bending, and reaching. - Work safely with equipment that can create and hold high temperatures. - Exposure to outdoor conditions and coolers/freezers. - Frequent handwashing and attention to personal cleanliness standards. Note: Certain age requirements apply for specific locations, and some positions have specific age requirements for graveyard shifts and management roles.
