As a Clinical Nurse III, you will provide direct care to patients of all ages in an outpatient setting. You will follow approved policies and procedures to deliver nursing care based on established standards of care.

You will work in a generally clean environment, although there may be some exposure to chemotherapy, contaminated waste, and infectious materials, including blood, body fluids, and possible communicable diseases. To ensure your protection, you will be required to use protective barriers such as gowns, gloves, masks, and goggles/face shields. Tasks may involve Category I exposure to HBV/HIV.

Key Responsibilities:

• Access ports, PICCs, and central lines
• Handle patient phone calls
• Coordinate complex oncology care

Educational Requirements:

Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licenses:

Required: Registered Nurse (RN) license

Preferred: Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN), Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) chemobiotherapy provider

Experience:

Required: 2 years of acute care oncology experience
