What will you do:

As a Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care across the healthcare continuum, from preventative and acute care to discharge. Your duties will include clinical practice, research, consultation, education, and leadership. You will collaborate with physicians to deliver expert care to our patients.

• Work closely with the medical director and chief nursing officer as part of the medical team.
• Adhere to the Nurse Practitioner Standardized Procedures, developed collaboratively with specialty areas, Nursing, and Hospital Administration, to deliver interdisciplinary patient care.
• Provide individualized care aligned with our nursing and patient care standards, educational plans, and hospital policies and procedures.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of patients by considering their age-specific needs and developmental milestones.
• Adapt your approach to accommodate the abilities and consent requirements of different age groups.

Experience Requirements:

• Preferred: 1+ years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Preferred: 3+ years of nursing experience.

Educational/Licensure/Certifications Requirements:

• Master of Nursing Degree.
• Graduate of a California Board of Registered Nurse-approved Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current State of California Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner License.
• National Certification or eligibility for certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Current DEA license and Furnishing Number or eligibility to obtain.
• Current ACLS certification required.
