Summary of Essential Duties: - Establish a plan of care, set goals, determine priorities, and provide care within established standards of practice. - Provide direct and indirect patient care services in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring safety, comfort, personal hygiene, and protection of patients. - Educate patients on disease prevention and restorative measures. - Administer medications and therapeutic agents as needed. - Perform skin tests, immunizations, phlebotomy, and initiate peripheral venous access. - Observe and monitor signs, symptoms, behaviors, and physical condition of patients. - Conduct assessments and implement individualized patient care plans. - Provide care to special patient populations and patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
