Job Summary:

- Provides direct and indirect care services to ensure the safety, comfort, hygiene, and protection of patients in a timely manner.
- Provides patient education on disease prevention and steps for recovery.
- Administers medications and therapeutic agents, performs skin tests, immunizations, phlebotomy, and initiates peripheral venous access.
- Monitors and assesses signs and symptoms of illness, reactions to medications/treatments, and overall physical condition.
- Plans and implements individualized patient care based on observations, with appropriate reporting and referrals. Takes emergency measures when necessary.
- Provides care to diverse patient populations with different cultural backgrounds. Considers factors like age, gender, sexual orientation, and disabilities when providing care.
- Recognizes and addresses patient safety concerns based on age and developmental considerations. Ensures a safe environment for patients.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (from an accredited program)

Licenses:

California State Registered Nurse (RN) License
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience as an RN
