Clinical Nurse, Procedural - Providing Compassionate Care

We are seeking compassionate individuals to join our team as Clinical Nurses, Procedural. As part of our team, you will provide individualized and specialized nursing care to patients, ensuring their safety and well-being before, during, and after procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and assess the needs of patients to provide supportive care throughout their procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
  • Communicate important information clearly and accurately to physicians and co-workers.
  • Create a safe environment for patients, taking necessary measures to prevent injury.
  • Respond promptly to any problem situations, reporting information as appropriate and documenting thoroughly.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as required.
  • Maintain and clean equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in proper working order.
  • Administer medications and pharmaceuticals safely and accurately.
  • Ensure that patients fully understand and consent to any sedation or anesthesia procedures.
  • Assist physicians during procedures, providing necessary support.
  • Supervise patients receiving conscious sedation or analgesia.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and sterility of the procedure room, preparing equipment before each procedure.
  • Seek assistance when faced with situations beyond your capability or job responsibilities.
  • May receive cross-training to provide pre and post-operative nursing care as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Education:

Associate's Degree/College Diploma in Nursing is required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.

License/Certifications:
  • Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
  • Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross is required.
Experience:

Two (2) years of nursing experience is required. Five (5) years of experience is preferred.
