What will you do as a Nurse Practitioner - GI (Gastrointestinal)? - Provide comprehensive care from preventative to acute care through discharge, applying the nursing process and collaborating with physicians. - Work closely with the medical team, following standardized procedures and incorporating interdisciplinary approaches to patient care. - Uphold nursing and patient care standards, education plans, and safety measures for diverse age groups. - Assess, intervene, and evaluate patients while considering their developmental milestones and abilities. Experience Requirements: - At least 1 year of experience as a Nurse Practitioner, preferably in GI. - Preferred 3 years of nursing experience. Educational/Licensure/Certifications Requirements: - Master of Nursing Degree. - Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing. - Current State of California Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner License. - National Certification or eligibility for certification as a Nurse Practitioner. - Current DEA license and Furnishing Number or eligibility to obtain. - Current ACLS certification required.
