Your role will involve defining and guiding objectives, roadmaps, collaboration, and technical requirements for our Generative AI platforms. Your background in technical program management and system architecture, along with effective communication skills, will be essential in achieving outsized and measurable outcomes. Additionally, you will contribute to developing the TPM discipline within the team and leveraging your industry knowledge to teach others about the value of TPM. **Responsibilities:** - Lead the execution of business strategies leveraging Generative AI, bringing together product, tech, and lines of business. - Define objectives, roadmaps, and technical requirements for Generative AI platforms. - Guide cross-organization collaboration and progress towards measurable outcomes. - Develop the TPM discipline within the team and educate others on the value of TPM. - Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the delivery life-cycle. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to simplify complex technical concepts and drive well-educated decisions. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's degree. - At least 7 years of experience managing technical programs. - Strong technical background in building highly scalable platforms, products, or services. - Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and influencing skills. - Ability to simplify complex technical concepts and drive well-educated decisions. - Experience growing and developing a team of TPMs. - Exceptional cross-team collaboration skills and emotional intelligence. **Preferred qualifications:** - 7+ years of experience designing and building data-intensive solutions using distributed computing. - 3+ years of experience building distributed systems and highly available services using cloud computing. - 3+ years of experience building scalable mobile products and platforms. - 3+ years of experience with Agile delivery. - Experience in building systems and solutions within a highly regulated environment. - Master's degree or MBA in a related technical field or equivalent experience. **Salary:** - New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $228,500 - $260,800 for Director, Technical Program Management. - San Francisco, California (Hybrid On-Site): $242,100 - $276,300 for Director, Technical Program Management. - Other locations' salary ranges will vary. **Benefits:** Capital One offers a comprehensive, competitive, and inclusive set of health, financial, and other benefits that support your total well-being.
