As a Distinguished Engineer, you will: - Be a deep technical expert, staying up-to-date on industry innovations and best practices, and accelerating the adoption of engineering practices. - Collaborate with teams on critical business issues that directly affect our customers and associates. - Mentor and support the technical expertise and know-how of our engineering and product community. - Act as an evangelist, both internally and externally, promoting the Distinguished Engineering community and establishing yourself as a go-to resource in your area of expertise. We are looking for someone who can seamlessly switch between deep technical discussions with engineers and high-level, strategic conversations about cloud roadmaps and security patterns. You should be naturally curious and stay informed about emerging trends, always exploring hands-on prototyping of new technologies. You should have experience in Enterprise Identity, including Identity Lifecycle Management, Authentication, Authorization, Privileged Access, and Cloud IAM. Additionally, you should be comfortable challenging existing processes and solutions while understanding the business value and focusing on priorities. Cloud-native security solution design should be second nature to you. Responsibilities: - Oversee the vision, roadmap, and delivery of cybersecurity solutions while maintaining a balance between security and simplification. - Serve as an Enterprise Identity counsel to senior leadership. - Act as a trusted advisor on cyber security and Enterprise Identity, shaping use cases and implementation in a unified and consistent manner. - Provide context and guidance for software teams and architects, guiding their architecture evolution in response to business changes. - Promote the adoption of modern technologies, sharing their benefits to gain buy-in. - Foster an inclusive environment where everyone's ideas can be heard and championed. - Drive engineering excellence, encouraging the reuse of solutions and sharing knowledge across the organization. - Communicate effectively with key stakeholders, at all levels of the organization. - Develop and mentor emerging talent in the field of technology, internally and externally. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree - At least 7 years of experience in identity and access management - At least 5 years of experience deploying and building modern cloud-based applications - At least 7 years of experience in software development or software engineering - At least 7 years of experience in cyber security. - At least 7 years of experience in securing a public cloud environment and services (AWS, GCP, Azure) Preferred Qualifications: - Master’s degree - 3+ years of experience utilizing Agile methodologies - 4+ years of experience assessing the effectiveness of security solutions against present and projected threats - AWS Certified Solution Architect certification. - Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) We offer a comprehensive and inclusive set of health, financial, and other benefits that support your total well-being.
