We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic about creating and supporting DevOps tools using the latest technologies. The Operational Excellence team in the Cyber Identity and Access Management (IAM) organization is seeking a technical expert to join their team. This role involves providing architecture, engineering, and production support across the entire IAM portfolio. We are looking for someone who can improve automation, resiliency, and reliability. You will collaborate with application engineers, other teams within the organization, and IAM Engineering leadership. What You’ll Do: - Work with engineers, architects, and other teams to identify and address technical and functional needs for systems and applications in the IAM portfolio. - Lead initiatives to improve the health and availability of the IAM application portfolio through automation, built-in resilience, and enhanced security. - Provide support and solutions during operational disruptions, and drive long-term improvements to enhance stability, reliability, and resiliency. - Influence IAM application teams to adopt technologies, processes, and best practices that improve the availability and scalability of IAM solutions. - Proactively anticipate future challenges and design for operational excellence from the start. - Provide consulting and hands-on support to resolve application deployment and management issues with minimal impact to our customers. - Participate in the design, development, testing, and release of new features and capabilities with a focus on post-production support. - Drive process improvements and design enhancements to continuously improve the production environment. - Stay updated on technology trends, experiment with new technologies, and contribute to the engineering community. Basic Qualifications: - High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification. - At least 8 years of experience in engineering and operational support of IAM services, such as identity lifecycle management, authentication, authorization, and privileged access management. - At least 6 years of experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. - At least 2 years of experience supporting infrastructure components of applications. Preferred Qualifications: - AWS certifications for Developer, Solutions Architect, or SysOps Administration. - 2+ years of experience with Agile practices. - 2+ years of experience with multiple programming languages such as C++, Java, Python, or SQL. Compensation: - New York City (Hybrid On-Site): $195,200 - $222,800 for Sr. Lead Platform Engineer. - San Francisco, California (Hybrid On-Site): $206,800 - $236,000 for Sr. Lead Platform Engineer.
