We are looking for a lead for our PeopleTech Workday and Salesforce Platform teams. In this role, you will collaborate with talented software engineering and support teams to deploy, maintain, and ensure the reliability of our applications and platforms in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do: As a Senior Manager Platform Engineering, your responsibilities will include: - Overseeing the design, implementation, and execution of platform level changes, configurations, and upgrades for WorkDay and Salesforce. - Managing the WorkDay tenants/environments and Salesforce Orgs to ensure efficient operations for support and project teams. - Maintaining cost effectiveness in user license management across platforms. - Collaborating with various teams to implement WorkDay and Salesforce updates into production. - Managing vendor relationships for upgrades, patching, and support. - Staying updated on new functionality and technology trends in WorkDay and Salesforce. - Guiding your team in conducting robust testing and release processes for production environments. - Maintaining security controls and managing response to audit requests with security experts. - Supervising the Data & Integrations team to ensure high-level uptime and accuracy. - Upholding global standards and principles while managing competing priorities. - Making recommendations for continuous improvement to provide a competitive advantage for development teams. Qualifications: We require the following qualifications: - Exceptional platform management experience, preferably with WorkDay and Salesforce. - Ability to design and run efficient processes with flexibility. - Understanding of security architecture and audits. - Excellent technical understanding of SAAS platforms, including integrations and data. - Experience in team leadership, mentoring, and management. - Strong ability to lead, inspire, engage, and coach a diverse team. - Delivery-focused with high energy, drive, and ability to delegate tasks effectively. - Strong cyber and risk awareness skills. - Creative problem-solving skills with a focus on scalability and simplicity. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. - Ability to mentor team members from different backgrounds. Basic Qualifications: - High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification. - At least 8 years of experience in Software or Platform Engineering. - At least 4 years of experience in WorkDay or other HR Platform Management. - At least 4 years of people management experience. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree. - 5+ years of experience in executing projects with HCM technologies. - 7+ years of people management experience. - 2+ years of experience in Agile practices. - 2+ years of experience in Salesforce software engineering. - WorkDay HCM Certification. Salary Information: Salaries for this role vary by location. For McLean, Virginia, the annual salary range is $195,200 - $222,800.
