At Quad, we constantly strive to find better ways to do things. We currently have an entry-level position available as a Printing Press Assistant. No prior experience is required as we will provide training. Some of the responsibilities of this role include jogging, bundling, and stacking printed signatures from the discharge unit of the printing press. In addition, you will assist with make-ready and clean-up duties as directed by the press operator. This position may also involve tasks related to moving paper rolls to the press, returning unused paper to the stock area, and loading reel stands with the appropriate stock. You will also be responsible for managing reel stand waste, sig waste, and quality control samples. During make-ready, you will assist with hanging plates and webbing up. The shift timings for this position are 12 hours long: either 8 am to 8 pm or 8 pm to 8 am. There is no shift rotation, and overtime opportunities are available.
