What will you do in this role?
As a Clinical Partner, you will be responsible for delivering patient care to a specialized population. You will provide personal nursing care and perform assigned tasks under the guidance of a licensed Registered Nurse (RN).
- Assist in implementing patient care plans under RN supervision.
- Ensure the safety of patients and their families by following current CDC hand washing guidelines and CSMC isolation policy to reduce the risk of infection.
- Safely use restraint interventions as directed by the charge nurse or primary RN.
- Maintain patient stability by checking vital signs and weight, recording intake and output, dispensing/retrieving patient care supplies, reporting abnormal vital signs, and accurately documenting in electronic medical records.
- Maintain cleanliness in patient rooms and care areas.
- Accompany patients for tests/procedures.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
Qualifications:
Minimum of one (1) year of previous experience as a Licensed CNA in an acute care facility (hospital or medical center preferred).
Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) approved by the American Heart Association or The American Red Cross: Required
Valid California Certified Nursing Assistant Certification: RequiredHigh School Diploma/GED: Required
Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal, to carry out job duties.
Dedication to customer service and ability to meet the needs and expectations of patients and healthcare colleagues.
Preferred knowledge of therapeutic positioning techniques.
