In a typical branch office, a financial advisor meets with clients and receives support from the branch office so they can focus on building strong relationships with clients. The Registration Department plays a crucial role in promoting our clients' best interests and ensuring compliance with industry rules and regulations. As a registration associate, you will be responsible for tasks related to security registration for financial advisors, branch office administrators, headquarters associates, and branch offices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete daily tasks for firm reconciliation and data reconciliation with regulators
- Collaborate with project teams to analyze data and provide actionable insights
- Merge, cleanse, and transform data using Excel
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual invoices
- Manage and project budgets for annual financial planning
- Conduct written supervisory reviews
- Make informed decisions based on industry knowledge and compliance guidelines
- Build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders to prepare for changes impacting clients and branch teams
- Contribute to department and division efforts through training, coaching, and process improvement
- Analyze trends and communicate insights to improve the client experience
- Promote a culture of change management and continuous improvement
- Identify and implement department improvements
- Apply firm and industry regulations to business decisions
- Communicate with senior leadership across the division and firm
- Finance, Accounting, or similar degree required
- Must hold series 7 and 66 (or equivalent)
- Must obtain series 9, 10, 24 within 6 months of hire
- Minimum 3 years of compliance or finance experience preferred
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with OE or process improvement preferred
Note: Candidates near our Tempe, AZ, and St. Louis, MO office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, preferably Tuesday through Thursday.
