About the Job:

The Fund Controller Alternative Investment position is an exciting opportunity to join our Investment Controllership team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial information related to alternative investments. As part of our diverse and inclusive team, you will collaborate with various teams to drive process improvements and deliver meaningful analysis. Responsibilities:

• Participate in the implementation of new financial systems.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
• Identify and implement accounting improvements to increase efficiency and business value.
• Lead continuous improvement activities within the team.
• Contribute to problem-solving efforts to enhance quality and customer satisfaction.
• Recommend control environment enhancements for the Investment Services Controllership team.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• At least 6+ years of relevant work experience

Ideal Qualifications:

• 8+ years of relevant work experience
• CPA or CFA preferred
• Master's degree preferred
• Knowledge and experience in investments
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience with system implementations
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well in a dynamic and agile environment
• Curiosity and willingness to learn and grow
