About the Position:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our float pool. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support multiple hospital units on a rotating basis, playing a critical role in the lives of patients every day.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect patient care services, including administering medications and therapeutic agents
• Utilize advanced assessment skills to evaluate signs, symptoms, reactions, behaviors, and general appearance
• Make special adjustments to meet the specific needs of diverse patient populations
• Provide assistance and guidance to co-workers, new staff, temporary staff, and students
• Participate in departmental quality improvement activities

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program. BSN preferred, but an Associate's Degree in Nursing is required
• Valid California RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
• PALS certification required if floating to the Emergency Department
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience
• Dedication to customer service and meeting the needs and expectations of patients and healthcare colleagues

Working Hours:

Night Shift: 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.
