Job Opportunity - Clinical Nurse II

Come join our team as a Clinical Nurse II (CN II)! As a CN II, you will provide skilled and effective nursing care in an ambulatory setting. We are looking for someone who is proficient in their clinical skills and can prioritize patient care in various situations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan and implement individualized patient care based on observations.
• Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) to maintain or improve care for our patients.
• Administer medications and therapeutic agents necessary for treatment, prevention, or rehabilitation.
• Perform various procedures such as skin tests, immunizations, and phlebotomy.
• Observe signs and symptoms of illness and reactions to medications/treatments.
• Prioritize and resolve patient care problems using available resources.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan patient care and education.
• Provide care to diverse patient populations, taking into consideration their cultural and individual needs.
• Participate in evidence-based improvement initiatives to enhance nursing outcomes.
• Ensure patient safety by identifying and addressing age-specific concerns.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.

Education and Requirements

We require an Associate's degree or College diploma in Nursing. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a state-accredited program is preferred. Candidates must have a valid California RN state license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. ANCC Specialty Certification is also preferred.

Experience

At least one year of relevant experience in an ambulatory or acute care setting is required, with specialization in the area of focus.
