Clinical Nurse, Procedural - Providing Compassionate Care

At Cedars-Sinai Medical Care Foundation, we are looking for a Clinical Nurse, Procedural who is passionate about delivering individualized and specialized nursing care to patients. If you are a compassionate and skilled nurse, we invite you to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and provide supportive care to patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with completing the procedure log.
• Communicate important information clearly and accurately to physicians and co-workers.
• Create a safe environment for patients to prevent injury.
• Investigate and address problem situations, reporting to supervisor and documenting thoroughly.
• Follow safety precautions and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Maintain equipment and supplies, including cleaning and disinfecting.
• Assist in maintaining an adequate inventory of supplies and medications.
• Safely administer oral and IV medications.
• Ensure patients understand and sign informed consents prior to sedation.
• Assist physicians during procedures.
• Supervise patients receiving Conscious Sedation/Analgesia.
• Maintain sterility and cleanliness of the procedure room.
• Report errors and bring up situations beyond capability to appropriate personnel.
• May provide pre and post-operative nursing care as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education:

Associate's Degree/College Diploma in Nursing required. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.

License/Certifications:

• Valid CA RN license required.
• Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.

Experience:

Two (2) years of nursing experience required. Five (5) years preferred.
