We are currently hiring for the position of Field Sales Representative, and we need candidates to start immediately. As a Field Sales Representative, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting in-person interviews in the homes of panelists.
- Navigating various types of buildings and entrances to reach potential participants.
- Traveling to homes within a designated territory using a company-provided vehicle.
- Approaching selected homes (with or without an appointment) to persuade households to participate in Nielsen TV, Radio, and Computer Research.
To qualify for this role, you should:
- Enjoy meeting and interacting with people from all walks of life.
- Be able to communicate the importance of participating in Nielsen Ratings effectively.
- Have relevant work or volunteer experience in customer service, market research, education, or similar fields.
- Be willing to work a non-traditional schedule that includes evenings and weekends.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Be proficient in using a tablet and smartphone for various tasks.
- Have a valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record.
- Meet individual performance metrics consistently.
The physical demands of this role include:
- Being willing and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Navigating stairs, elevators, walkways, and driveways to reach people's homes.
- Interacting with people for extended periods, regardless of the condition of their homes.
In terms of physical requirements, this role involves:
- Local travel up to 50% of the time.
- Driving for up to 8 hours per day.
- Standing for up to 6 hours per day.
- Kneeling for up to 2 hours per day.
- Climbing stairs and walking up to half a mile.
- Working in all seasons and inclement weather.
- Lifting up to 30 lbs.
