Job Description
General Purpose of Job: We are looking for someone who can inspire and prepare every individual to achieve their dreams, contribute to the community, and continue learning throughout their lifetime.
Description: We need someone to plan, coordinate, and supervise programs for early childhood education, school readiness, and preschool screening. This includes seeking and managing grants and funding for these programs, as well as serving as a liaison to external agencies in matters of early childhood education. You will also be responsible for promoting communication across different early childhood programs within the district.

- Conduct ongoing community needs assessments to inform future programming.
Instructional Leadership:
- Develop the capacity of your staff to maximize their impact.
- Coordinate the hiring and supervision of direct reports.
- Provide support and feedback to your team.
- Delegate tasks, establish procedures, and make effective decisions to meet deadlines.
- Oversee hiring, training, and evaluation of staff.
- Develop and implement curricula aligned with state early childhood indicators and parent education core curriculum.
- Collaborate with teachers to analyze student data and develop intervention strategies.
- Lead reflective practice and action research to improve student learning.
- Distribute leadership responsibilities and supervise daily management to enhance teaching and learning.
- Plan, review, and evaluate programs.
- Communicate regularly with staff and promote teamwork.
- Develop and implement marketing and outreach efforts to reach all district families with young children.
Management Skills:
- Manage department resources effectively.
- Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Make effective decisions to address safety and security concerns.
- Supervise site maintenance and security.
- Serve as a building site leader and foster community partnerships.

Requirements:
- Three years of relevant programming experience.
- Three years of relevant supervisory experience (preferred experience in public school or community-based programming).
- Early Childhood or Parent and Family Education licensure.
- Minnesota Administrative License.

- Understanding of the developmental needs of young children.

Salary/Benefits: This is a full-time exempt position with benefits. Salary range is $107,225 - $127,906 per year.
