Job Description – EMS – Team Member

Job Summary:

As an EMS Team Member, you will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and updating financial and corporate systems data. This includes ensuring accuracy of client data for reporting and planning purposes. You will collaborate with other departments to improve processes and will receive training as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Verify, validate, monitor, and measure data quality in the Entity Management System through research and analysis
  • Determine legal relationships within corporate hierarchies for accurate revenue reporting
  • Inactivate accounts for mergers/acquisitions, government assistance, liquidation/bankruptcy, or duplicates
  • Manage mapping of bank numbers and billing identifiers
  • Utilize data quality tools and research resources to make informed decisions
  • Collaborate with internal departments to establish integrity rules and define processes
  • Ensure data administration and processes are complete and accurate
  • Approve EMS access security requests
  • Implement data cleaning and maintenance processes
  • Drive process improvement and promote data quality awareness across the organization
  • Research data requests and generate reports for analysis
  • Populate missing/incomplete data and communicate changes to relevant teams
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent
