As a 2024 FIS University Program full-time employee, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, community service activities, professional development seminars, and work with a team that is invested in your growth, development, and success. This includes bi-annual performance connects with your manager.

This two-year full-time program has start dates in January, March, June, and September. It includes a dedicated "Learning Week" where you will:

  • Learn how to work within a corporate environment
  • Learn about the exciting world of Fintech and the role FIS plays
  • Hear from FIS leadership about their journey and participate in senior leader networking opportunities
  • Build a network of peers from across the organization

This position is for a March 2024 start.

About the team

As part of the Capital Markets Professional Services (PS) organization, the Private Markets team works collaboratively with clients and FIS team members to consult, build, and implement solutions critical to our client's success. Our industry encompasses a wide range of financial services that serve the Private Equity client base.

What you will be doing

  • Gain a deep understanding of FIS products and solutions, becoming a subject matter expert in one or more of our solution modules
  • Consult with clients and FIS internal partners to advise on best practice utilization of FIS products or solutions
  • Assess, understand, and clearly articulate requirements to meet technical and business needs
  • Work as part of a team to build, configure, train, test, and deliver solutions within a project delivery framework
  • Analyze and evaluate data to understand problems, resolve issues, and improve the client experience

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Adaptability, a drive to learn, and strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team

Bonus if you have

  • Relevant degree, concentration, or certification in Business Administration, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Decision Science, or Information Technology
  • Work experience or internship with a technology, document management, or software organization
  • Knowledge of various types of IT project methodologies and life cycles
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry, particularly in capital markets or investment operations
  • Knowledge of FIS products and services
