We are looking for a proactive, business-minded Microsoft Business Central Functional Consultant to join our IT team based either at our Mangere site in Auckland or Sydney Office to support internal BC users across the APAC region. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in optimizing our ERP platform across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Sales.
We’re not just looking for technical expertise - we’re seeking someone who thinks business first, understands the why behind the process, and can translate that into smart, scalable solutions using Business Central.
Job Description
What You’ll Do
Partner with stakeholders to understand business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Provide expert advice and act as a technical lead, helping stakeholders use BC to solve challenges and meet business objectives.
Build strong, collaborative relationships working closely with business users to collaboratively design solutions and offer best-practice guidance throughout delivery
Configure and enhance Business Central modules to streamline workflows and reduce manual effort.
Lead upgrades, integrations, and rollouts with external partners.
Provide functional support and troubleshoot issues, escalating when needed.
Document configurations, manage UAT and monitor system performance.
Stay ahead of the curve - recommend best practices and leverage new Business Central features.
Qualifications
What You'll Bring
5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Business Central.
Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate.
Strong knowledge of Finance, Inventory, Sales, Purchasing, and Manufacturing modules.
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate) is a plus.
A mindset that prioritizes ease of use, intuitive design, and business impact.
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement.
Experience in FMCG or Food Manufacturing is highly regarded.
