We are looking for a Test Engineer to join an agile IT team working with order processing and SAP. You will have an important role in strengthening our shift-left quality approach and ensuring reliable software solutions that support our business. The position is based at our Head Office in Aarhus, Denmark.

WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT 

As a Test Engineer at JYSK, you will help ensure testing excellence within your agile team. You will take responsibility for the team's approach to testing and contribute to a quality-focused culture by applying structured test methodologies, identifying risks and providing stakeholders with clear insights into software quality.  

Your tasks and responsibilities in the job include: 

• Safeguarding and developing the overall test strategy within the agile team 

• Creating test designs as an integrated part of the software development lifecycle 

• Specifying logical and physical test cases based on structured test analysis 

• Executing test cases and maintaining relevant testware 

• Identifying quality risks and providing stakeholders with clear quality insights 

• Working with developers and other team members to strengthen shift-left testing and quality practices 

• Coaching team members and stakeholders on software testing and quality assurance

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING 

We are strengthening our shift-left quality culture as part of JYSK's IT modernisation. To succeed in this position, you have a structured testing mindset and know how to turn established test methodologies into practical testing activities. Experience with SAP or another ERP system will be an advantage, particularly if you understand sales order processing and the retail customer journey.  

We are looking for a new colleague who: 

• Has proven experience with software testing and quality assurance 

• Has experience establishing and applying test strategies for software deliverables based on structured test analysis 

• Can apply test methodologies and test design techniques to achieve relevant test coverage 

• Ideally has experience with sales order processing in SAP or another standard ERP system 

• Ideally understands retail processes and the customer journey 

• Works independently and proactively, reaching out to colleagues and stakeholders to gather information and discuss risks 

• Communicates clearly, can coach others on software testing and understands Danish
