WHAT WE OFFER YOU
You will be part of a well-functioning quality assurance and test team of 6 Store application QA specialists and a team leader.
We have competences within test design, test case writing, test execution, configuration and configuration management, release management and documentation.
We are the specialists in the Store applications, which covers functions like basic sale and customer orders via Point of Sales cash register, goods reception, stocktaking etc.
Store Applications department will be your test-professional base, but a large proportion of the daily tasks is performed within an agile scrum team with software engineers, test engineers, business specialists etc., where you as the QA Specialist have the roles of tester and application expert - representing the Store users and securing the quality of the software development.
We own the flow from giving input to acceptance criteria and test scope, assisting with doing configuration of the software, doing the testing or test coordination, handing over the software package to the IT operations team, to being part of the productive bug triage and problem solving.

WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT
Your tasks and responsibilities in the job include:
- Writing testcases for new stories and features based on the acceptance criteria
- Test design
- Planning and coordination of test
- Test execution: testing all new changes and bugfixes; independently and together with IT technicians or other Scrum team members.
- Bug triage in cooperation with other departments (especially Helpdesk and Store IT), error reporting, and test
This is an excellent opportunity to grow within the role and take on increasing responsibility over time.
WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING
We are fostering a shift-left quality culture to support our IT modernisation. To succeed in this role, you should have a strong testing mindset and skill set, based on established test methodologies.
We are looking for a new colleague who:
- Has proven experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Are able to care for details and stay focused even in extensive repetitive tasks, like testing
- Has experience with and can utilize test methodologies and test design techniques to provide test coverage
- Has a good understanding of Retail in general and the in-store processes in particular
