Are you enthusiastic about responsible supplier management and more sustainable timber products? Do you possess the ability to keep a structured overview and prioritization of tasks? – then, you could be the person we are looking for, as our Compliance Team Leader.

You will be in charge of the daily operations regarding the European Timber Regulation (EUTR), as well as additional national timber requirements. Furthermore, you will play an important part of implementing the coming European Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).

You will be part of the Compliance & Quality department consisting of 20 dedicated colleagues, most of whom have their daily routine at the head office in Aarhus.

WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT
Your tasks and responsibilities in the job includes:

• Drive and be a part of the daily operation of relevant timber legislations.
• Implement legal requirements into a large business, with efficiency in mind, without compromising on quality and the detail level.
• Remotely lead a small team of Compliance Coordinators, that together with you are responsible for checking and approving supply chain documentation showing legality of the timber in JYSKs wood-based products.

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING
We are looking for a new colleague who:

• Has a relevant background, preferably experience with due diligence or timber.
• Knowledge about FSC is an advantage.
• Ideally, has experience as a leader or has had a similar job.
• Works structured and is detail oriented.
• Has a sincere interest in responsible forest management or responsible timber sourcing.
• Masters English in writing and speaking.
• Has a positive energy, impact and can make things happen.
• It is considered a plus if you have experience from a production.

Your primary workplace is at the head office in Aarhus, and you should expect approx. 15 travel days per year.
