Job Description

As the Operations Team Member your focus will be to perform accurate and efficient inbound and outbound warehouse activities within the Home Delivery Centre (HDC) to support HDC outcomes and deliver to our end user customers. This is a hands-on role and as such, your experience and skills in a similar role will lend itself to the demands of our Operations Team Member. Your responsibilities will also include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Goods receiving, picking, labelling, staging and assistance with dispatch and stock checking
  • Support for customer pick-up (requires manual goods handing) and with all site waste stream management related tasks
  • Assistance with cyclical stocktakes and adhoc cycle counts and compliance with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) safe operating procedures
  • Use of RF based Warehouse Management Systems and other enabling tools/resources
  • Observance of supplier chain of responsibility adherence and escalate noncompliance in line with required standards

Three rosters available:

1 x AM Shift: Monday to Friday 5.54am - 2pm

1 x AM Shift: Thursday to Monday 5.54am - 2pm

1 x PM Shift: Wednesday to Sunday -times Wed- Fri 1.54pm - 10pm and Sat-Sun 10.54am - 7pm

Qualifications

Your motivation, drive and reliability will be paramount to the success of this role. You will be an experienced (forklift licenced) operations minded individual who thrives in a fast-paced high-volume RF enabled warehousing environment, whilst also possessing the following skills and attributes:

  • Current MHE Licences - LF, required
  • Current MHE Licences - LO, preferred
  • Understanding of Warehouse Management Systems & RF technology
  • Reliable transport (car)
  • Demonstrated clamp handling experience of bulky goods (desirable)
