For the role of Plant Initiative Lead at the JDE factory in Joure, we are looking for an enthusiastic and eager-to-learn colleague with strong project management skills. As a Plant Initiative Lead, you are responsible for NPD projects within the factory.

As a Plant Initiative Lead, you will be responsible for:

• NPD projects (new products and packaging materials)
• Coordination of master data
• Phase-in and phase-out of packaging materials and products
• Minimizing obsolete costs
• Acting as a key point of contact for the factory towards R&D, D2P, MSUs, and Procurement

Where will you work?

As a Plant Initiative Lead, you will be part of the enthusiastic Planning & Logistics team, consisting of a logistics engineer, warehouse team leader, delivery planners, production schedulers, and material planners. In this role, you report to the Manager Planning & Logistics.

In Joure, Egbert Douwes and his wife Akke Thijsses opened their grocery store De Witte Os on the Midstraat in 1753, laying the foundation for what is now Douwe Egberts. To this day, two of our most important factories—producing coffee and tea—are still located here.

• Experience in project management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously through strong decision-making, effective prioritization, and excellent time management
• A high level of drive and self-motivation; ambitious and willing to go the extra mile
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across different levels of the organization
• Preferably familiarity with JDE and/or KBU processes

The position is classified in job grade 10 under the Coffee & Tea collective labor agreement (CAO).
