JDE UK | Senior Commercial Leadership Opportunity

As our new National Account Controller, you’ll take the helm of our Discounter & Wholesale channel — one of the most strategically important, fastest‑evolving parts of our business. This is your chance to drive transformation, unlock new routes to market, and build partnerships that set new standards in the coffee category.

 

What You’ll Lead

As National Account Controller, you will:

🔹 Shape and execute multi‑year customer strategies

Drive growth that outpaces the category by creating winning long‑term plans across discounters, wholesale partners and high‑street accounts.

🔹 Lead a high‑performing commercial team

You’ll manage 6 direct reports and a broader x-functional team (Category & Supply Chain), championing capability development and best‑in‑class account management.

🔹 Build deep, influential customer relationships

Create breakthrough partnerships across a broad customer base, unlocking physical availability and distribution across multiple channels.

🔹 Own commercial performance

Deliver NOS, GP, margin and cash targets, lead negotiations, shape JBPs, optimise trade investment and ensure operational excellence.

🔹 Be a strategic voice across JDE

Sit at the heart of the UK Sales Leadership team, influencing decisions, driving culture, and accelerating JDE’s capability as a challenger business.

  • Brings significant account controllership or sales leadership experience
  • Thrives in complex, fast‑moving commercial environments

  • Thinks strategically, negotiates brilliantly, and drives growth relentlessly
  • Combines shopper insight, financial acumen and creativity to unlock new opportunities
  • Builds powerful networks internally and externally, influencing with confidence and clarity
