Job Description
The Executive Committee (ExCo) of JDE consists of 9 members, of which the majority is based in Amsterdam. The support to the Executive Committee in Amsterdam is mainly provided by five assistants, of which one role is presently vacant. The general atmosphere is result driven, dynamic, informal with a down to earth mentality.
In your role as Executive Assistant you will mainly provide a comprehensive, confidential and professional support to the Vice President Human Resources and her team and to one other ExCo member. You will also be engaged in supporting other ExCo members when necessary as well as providing backup support to the other ExCo assistants in their absence. Organize (bi)monthly onboarding sessions for newcomers. You will also be responsible for selected projects.
The support you will provide will be on organizing & maintaining agendas, appointments, team meetings and travel arrangements, both on-site and for international events. Additionally, you will manage the expenses of the individuals that you support. During these activities you will handle confidential information, therefore sensitivity to discretion is essential. Intermittently, you will play an active role in the coordination of functional events.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least four years of experience in a similar role. You have gained this experience in fast moving, international environments. You are open to change, agile and flexible. You always aim to provide the highest degree of customer service in your approach and intuitive in meeting the demands of senior stakeholders and their teams.

- At least 4 years of experience in management support, including full control of Outlook and broad experience with complex international travelling schedules;
- highly committed to the job and your team, willing to walk the extra mile;
- no 9 to 5 mentality, getting the job done;
- excellent communication and collaboration skills, on every level within the organization;
- fluent proficiency in Dutch and English (other languages being a bonus)
- wanting to be part of an ambitious and hard working team, no status orientation.
