Job Description

We are looking for General Surgeon's to join our projects across multiple sites including Mali, Afghanistan and Oman. If you have energy and passion and are looking for an exciting career overseas working as part of a multi-disciplined team, this could be the job for you.

Iqarus delivers intelligent and integrated healthcare solutions in complex and demanding operating environments. We deliver across the medical spectrum from primary care and occupational health, to advanced pre-hospital trauma care, through to full-scale laboratory, radiological, diagnostic and surgical capabilities.

The General Surgeon will provide preoperative, operative, and post-operative management of patient care.

Key responsibilities include:

  • To perform surgical interventions, including damage control surgery and surgical procedures for emergency surgical cases, to deliver life, limb, and function saving medical treatment.
  • Provide 24-hour outpatient, emergency medical care, and resuscitation procedures 7 days a week.
  • Stabilize and support a casualty before evacuation by air or land

Qualifications

  • Medical Graduate
  • Fully Registered and currently licensed with no restriction to practice in country of origin.
  • Minimum 3 Years of Post-graduate experience in Surgery.
  • Post graduate training in General Surgery or equivalent
  • ACLS Certification
  • Fluency in English
