Job Description

Role Summary:

This position is a key role in the day to day routine of the procurement team, supporting Iqarus Global activities and Growth through coordination and management of Procurement processes and procedures

As the Procurement Coordinator, you will be expected to ensure that all goods are purchased in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner, maintain positive relationships with suppliers and provide efficient support to the business.

In order to ensure that excellent customer service levels are maintained a pragmatic, can-do attitude is essential.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Liaise and develop relations within the supply chain. Assist in negotiations with contacts to obtain cost-effective procurement
  • Identify where new suppliers are needed or no longer required. Update department managers on supplier performance when required
  • Prepare Purchase Orders in line with agreed minimum and maximum stock levels and Budget with preferred suppliers using agreed pricing.
  • Performance manage of suppliers in accordance with SLA's or similar KPI's
  • Organize and schedule procurements in a timely manner
  • Review contractual actions to ensure they conform with statutory and regulatory requirements
  • Responsible for expediting and logistics with respect to the delivery of supplier equipment and materials to the site.
  • Procurement of facilities services in line with the sourcing plan and contract requirement
  • Provide essential data to suppliers in relation to monthly usage
  • Resolve customer issues
  • Prepare requested reports by management
  • Process invoices
  • Interface with project segment managers and contract administrators, buyers, expeditors, inspectors, materials controllers, transportation and logistics and other parties as required. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proficient IT skills including MS Word, MS Excel and share-point and comfortable with numerical reasoning
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma relevant to Procurement/Supply Chain and Logistics
  • Minimum 3 years of previous experience in Procurement & Supply Chain
  • Experience in Healthcare industry desirable but not mandatory

Key Skills:

  • Excellent understanding of International Procurement
  • Excellent Skills required in English language, oral and written.
