Job Description
Supporting the on-site emergency response capability and management of medical emergencies, with limited primary healthcare coverage.
Qualifications
- ALS Paramedic or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a hospital setting
- English speaking
Additional Information
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide appropriate support on site for the management of medical emergencies, including stabilization, and transport via road ambulance to the main Syama site clinic
Support with the provision of a limited primary health care service on site
Comply with project-specific Medevac plan
Comply with Iqarus operations standards and manuals, e.g. Clinical Guidelines, Formulary and Standard Operating Procedures
Maintain comprehensive confidential medical records of all patient attendances/contacts
Maintain patient confidentiality
Protect project-specific client information
Report any occupational illness and injuries in line with Resolute Mining QHSE programme
Ensure that the ambulance and onsite clinic (if one is to be provided on site) is kept clean and tidy and is prepared for operational delivery at all times
Ensure the medical inventory and stock levels are maintained and that all equipment is functional
