MUSC's (Medical University of South Carolina) clinical excellence partnered with the community presence of Intuitive Health 

The Clinical Manager is responsible for the leadership and management of the non-physician clinical staff in concurrence with the Program Director and Hospital Partner to provide patients with great customer service through sound clinical practices and efficient operations. As a leader, the Clinical Manager is expected to provide an environment that encourages teamwork, continuous improvement, and is patient centric.

You will be a great fit for this role if you have:

• RN license
• At least 5 years of experience as an RN in the Emergency Department or at a Freestanding Emergency Room
• 2 years of formal or informal nursing leadership experience

Manage and support non-physician clinical staff in collaboration with the Program Director, Medical Director, Hospital, and Intuitive leadership, including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, training, mentoring, evaluations, and performance management. Support quality improvement, regulatory and accreditation readiness, compliance with Hospital policies and applicable requirements, and quarterly reporting on site performance. Promote a positive workplace culture, patient satisfaction, community engagement, and a welcoming, respectful, and clean environment for patients, families, and staff. Participate in applicable committees and other activities as requested.

• BSN Required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in management or charge nurse experience within the emergency department
• Unrestricted registered nursing license (Multi State or SC)
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS or ENPC certification

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.  This position requires intermittent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This job operates in a healthcare setting. This role may routinely come in contact with patients who have contagious illnesses or diseases. This position would require moderate noise from phones, computers, printers and medical equipment. The job also requires working near moving mechanical parts and working near toxic or caustic materials. The position requires lifting weights of up to 25 pounds.
