Job Description
Primary Function of Position:
The Sr Endoluminal Market Development Representative is responsible for driving the adoption, integration, and growing the utilization of the Ion Endoluminal system. This position takes ownership of implementing clinical programs, ensuring operational excellence, and forging high-level partnerships with physicians and hospital administrators. By demonstrating the clinical, economic and strategic value of the Ion Endoluminal System, the representative expands system utilization and shapes the long-term success of the assigned territory.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Identify, inspire and train physicians to utilize the Ion Endoluminal system
• Provide support to physicians and hospital staff to ensure the optimal utility of the system,
consumables and software features
• Frequent activities typically include:
o Sales presentations
o Technology test drives
o Facilitating peer to peer events and procedure observations
o Technology training labs
o Procedure support
o Training of hospital care teams
• Become a clinical expert in the pulmonary/bronchoscopy specialties
• Collaborate with hospital staff and physicians to develop and execute operational plans for
effectively integrating the Ion Endoluminal system, ensuring frequent and reproducible utilization of
the system
• Facilitate the capture of critical user and procedural data to create effective benchmarking metrics
• Work closely with the Sales Manager, Program Manager(EPM), and marketing team to build
successful Ion programs through clinical, economic, and strategic validation
Qualifications
Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:
• 8+ years of sales experience and 2+ years in healthcare sales
• Excellent clinical selling skills and ability to quickly develop credibility with a highly educated
customer base
• Clinical acumen in lung health specialties is preferred
• Knowledge of the pulmonary/bronchoscopy space is a plus
• Microsoft Office expertise
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree required
