Job Description
Primary Function of Position:
This lead level position is responsible for all phases of receipt, movement, storage, tracking, and shipment of service materials and tools required for field service and order fulfillment. Job duties include materials transactions using SAP and troubleshooting; perform document and reconcile inventory cycle counts; manages interfaces with delivery carriers; and facilitates support of daily service operations throughout the warehouse. Mentor and assist in training peer members of logistics team; work closely with fellow team members, and able to independently audit processes and procedures for compliance.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Mentor and Train Logistics Coordinators in preferred methods and requirements for put-away, 3rd party warehouse replenishment, FRU order fulfillment, and shipments worldwide
- Provide logistics support for all global RMAs
- Ensure timely shipment of all outbound FRU shipments to meet contractual obligations and customer requirements
- Work with customs brokers and freight forwarders to resolve import/export operational issues
- Able to resolve shipping issues
- Able to process FRU orders for domestic (U.S.) and international customers
- Manage international shipping documentation requirements
- Maintain tactical and strategic interfaces with shipping carriers (FedEx, DSV, DHL, UPS, Crane Logistics, RCS Logistics, Expeditors and Network Global Logistics)
- Projects for warehouse safety and housekeeping continuous improvement per 5S principles
- Train and certify for use of material handling (fork lift and pallet jack) equipment per policy and procedures; audit safety inspections of equipment
- Contributing member of cross-functional teams that target continuous improvements for materials management
- Follow all corporate, regulatory, safety policies and procedures
- Perform other projects or duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:
- Possess high school diploma, AA degree preferred
- Possess prior warehouse (5+ years) or experience in all aspects of receiving, shipping, and manufacturing operations support
- Inventory management experience (cycle counts, physical inventory)
- Prior ability to audit process issues and lead project teams
- Prior medical industry experience
- Operations management education (APICS, ASQ, ISM…)
- Prior experience and/or certification in operating material handling equipment
- Ability to lift 40 pounds frequently each day
- Extensive walking and repetitive physical motion (squatting, bending, lifting) is required (at least 70% of hours worked)
- Able to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness in completing work assignments while complying with verbal and written instructions
- Prior computer experience (including MS Office products and ERP systems) preferably SAP and Agile.
- Process shipments using FedEx Ship Manager, UPS World Ship or Freight Forwarder AWB
- Knowledge of Kanban systems and other lean material handling principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly customer and service focused

Compensation will be based primarily on the job level at which the role is filled and the
candidate’s qualifications, consistent with applicable law.

It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications.
