Job Description
Primary Function of Position
Intuitive is seeking an ambitious, analytical, and collaborative Business Continuity and Emergency ManagementAnalyst to join the Safety, Security & Resilience (SSR) organization. This role supports the development and execution of enterprise resilience initiatives designed to protect employees, safeguard operations, minimize disruption, and strengthen organizational preparedness across global sites.
The Business Continuity and Emergency Management Analyst will support and coordinate activities across Business Continuity, Crisis Management, Emergency Preparedness, Emergency Response, and Risk Mitigation programs, working closely with Building and Regional Incident Management Teams, Business Continuity Coordinators, regional stakeholders, cross-functional corporate partners, first responders, and external vendors.
This position plays a key role in the planning, maintenance, testing, training and continuous improvement of continuity and emergency response capabilities through risk assessments, exercises, training, reporting, and incident support. The Analyst will help ensure organizational readiness and compliance with established standards, policies, and resilience objectives while contributing to a culture of safety, preparedness, and operational resilience across the enterprise.
The role is expected to participate in Crisis Management Team activations, emergency response coordination, mass communication testing, and recovery activities during disruptive events and exercises.
Essential Job Duties
Emergency Preparedness & Crisis Response
Support emergency preparedness and crisis response activities during disruptive events.
Facilitate communication and coordination with internal stakeholders, site teams, emergency responders, and leadership during incidents.
Participate in Incident Management Team activations, mass notification testing, and operational response activities.
Help develop and update current Emergency Action Plans, Emergency Response Guides, and Incident Action Plans.
Training & Awareness
Develop training materials and awareness content related to Business Continuity, Emergency Response, Crisis Management, and preparedness initiatives.
Support facilitation of workshops, coordinator training sessions, and employee preparedness awareness activities.
Exercises, Testing & Continuous Improvement
Coordinate and facilitate tabletop exercises, simulations, evacuation drills, and continuity testing activities to validate preparedness capabilities.
Develop exercise materials including scenarios, facilitation guides, presentation decks, and After-Action Reports (AARs).
Track corrective actions, assign owners, and monitor remediation progress to closure.
Business Continuity & Emergency Planning
Support the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), Emergency Action Plans (EAPs), Emergency Response Guides (ERG), Crisis Management procedures, and related resilience documentation.
Partner with business stakeholders to ensure continuity and emergency plans remain current, actionable, and aligned with operational needs.
· Risk Assessment & Analysis
Assist with Business Impact Analyses (BIAs), risk assessments, and site readiness evaluations to identify operational vulnerabilities, dependencies, and potential threats.
Support the development of risk reports, dashboards, and resilience metrics for leadership review and decision-making
Program Administration & Compliance
Support administration and user access management for emergency management and BC-related platforms and tools.
Monitor compliance with applicable standards, policies, and resilience program requirements.
Prepare data summaries, reports, presentations, and program updates for senior leadership, REWS leadership, Steering Committees, and other stakeholders as needed.
Support audits, documentation reviews, and evidence collection activities.
Project & Operational Support
Assist with implementation of strategic initiatives and special projects supporting the Safety, Security & Resilience organization.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
3–5 years of experience in Business Continuity, Emergency Management, Crisis Management, Risk Management, Security Operations, or related resilience functions.
Familiarity with Business Continuity and Emergency Management frameworks and industry best practices.
Planning and process creation.
Working knowledge of the Incident Command System (ICS) framework.
Experience supporting continuity planning, exercises, incident response coordination, or emergency preparedness programs.
Knowledge of ISO 22301, emergency management principles, or operational resilience practices preferred.
Experience with Business Continuity platforms or resilience management tools preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail with strong business ethics and professionalism.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and facilitation capabilities.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across a matrixed, global organization.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across functions and regions.
Resilient self-starter with adaptability and sound decision-making skills during evolving situations.

Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree required in:

Security Management
Information Technology
Public Administration
Or related field
Professional certifications related to Business Continuity and/or Emergency Management preferred, such as:
CBCP / ABCP
MBCI
CEM
OSHA
FEMA ICS Certifications
DRI - CBCP
ISO 22301-related training or certification
