Job Description

Primary Function of Position:

This position requires a strong operations professional who has been involved with business systems optimization. This involves understanding what different business systems are available to logistics operations, and how to successfully plan, roll out, and manage such applications across the organization. This individual will help manage daily operations driving efficiencies with SAP and SAP related capabilities, will be responsible for implementation and facilitation of process changes and system improvements. The ideal candidate will have experience in SAP, fulfillment processes and scheduling, returns, and a history of implementing process improvements

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support logistics and distribution optimization projects
  • Act as primary contact and super-user for IT within EMEA Logistics
  • Act as business owner for integration with 3PL’s
  • Analyze and resolve inventory process discrepancies
  • Create metrics and maintain KPI dashboards to measure process efficiencies in order to validate process changes creating the desired results
  • Evaluate 3PL operational performance
  • Collaborating with IT to implement effective systems
  • Analyze business processes, systems, data needs, and requests and recommend solutions using system standards and best practices.
  • Be team subject matter expert for SAP (SD and MM modules).  Train team as needed
  • Work with cross-functional business teams to ensure end-to-end integration of data/business processes and procedures.
  • Testing SAP process changes, including test-script development and ensuring they meet business needs.
  • Write business specification documents and user requirement specifications
  • Develop effective and cooperative working relationships with process owners, technical and functional team members, and users.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, technology or similar or equivalent blend of work and certification experience required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience, working with various stakeholders required.
  • Highly organized with strong ability to prioritize required.
  • Experience with ERP systems, Business Intelligence applications and MS Office products, preferably SAP ERP/BI and Tableau. Strong skill set in Excel is a must Experience in data mining, analysis and reporting.
  • Strong ability to extract information with the ability to create clear requirements, specifications, and documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in logistics and distribution environments strongly preferred
  • Fluent English language skills (both verbal and written) required
  • Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, aerospace, or other regulated industry strongly preferred
  • Experience working for a Global organization across multiple functions and regions preferred
  • Highly proactive with ability to work independently preferred
  • Enthusiastic and passion to learn and develop
  • Be an excellent team player with the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
