Job Description

Primary Function of Position

The scope of this role will span across Global Operations (GO), with a focus on providing recurring and ad hoc statistical assistance to both Global Operations FP&A and their business partners.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Examine financial and operations datasets to generate insights that improve margins, inventory, and operations KPIs
  • Build financial analytics tools (e.g., dashboards, starter workbooks, how-to’s) for broad Finance audience use
  • Provide trainings on tools and datasets for Global Operations FP&A
  • Maintain a portfolio of recurring dashboards and monitor for continued accuracy and usability
  • Develop requirements for tools and analyses through discussion with business users
  • Perform user acceptance testing and validation of data consistency across tools and projects
  • Work with a cross functional team to set and manage analytics priorities for Global Operations Finance
  • Project manage a portfolio of ad hoc and recurring analytics projects
  • Manage communication with Finance leadership about analytics priorities, status, and escalations
  • Autonomously executes on a set of their own projects (serving as a “player-coach”)
  • Manage at least one Financial Analyst

Qualifications

Skills, Experience, Education, & Training

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Proven ability to derive quantitative insights from examining complex or incomplete datasets
  • Exceptional verbal communication and data visualization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to autonomously design, build, publish, and maintain reporting dashboards using Business Intelligence software tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc)
  • Proficiency with SQL
  • Ability to succinctly and accurately present findings to management
  • Curiosity mindset and ability to navigate ambiguous circumstances
  • Ability to interact effectively with cross functional teams
  • This role requires working onsite in our Sunnyvale, CA office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday every week.

Required Education and Training

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science or related field
