Job Description

This position will support the US Department of Veterans Affairs Critical Staffing Program. The person in this position will represent International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. and provide services outlined below:

Provide centralized, remote support (0.5 Full‑Time Equivalent (FTE)) to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Dental Pilot Program, serving as the single accountable Point of Contact (POC) to oversee contract performance, risk management, quality assurance, schedules/deliverables, compliance with VA policies, stakeholder coordination across Veterans Integrated Service Networks (VISNs), and mandated reporting (including congressional reporting), as required by the contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Compile and prepare review summaries, reports, and correspondence; maintain accurate, timely records supporting mandated reporting, as required by the contract.

• Scheduling and Coordination — Coordinate meetings, training sessions, and conferences; plan and schedule mobile clinic operations where applicable; maintain staff training schedules and attendance records, per the contract.

• Provide bi‑weekly updates and monthly progress reports to the contract‑designated program bodies (including CCPI, as defined in the contract); facilitate communications among contracted dental staff, the VA Office of Dentistry, and other stakeholders; present reports as required by the contract.

• Identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks; document process updates; support implementation of quality control measures; prepare reports on outcomes, as required by the contract’s quality provisions and Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP).

• Attend VA‑required training sessions, periodic refresher courses, and any certification programs within contract deadlines, including initial and annual VA Privacy and Information Security Awareness and Rules of Behavior (Talent Management System (TMS) course #10176), and sign the Organizational Rules of Behavior (ROB) when required.

• Support the technical kick off meeting within ten (10) calendar days after contract award; contribute the approach, work plan, and project schedule; support the submission of detailed monthly reports for the period of performance, all as specified in the contract.

• Ensure Project Analyst deliverables meet QASP standards for Administrative Pilot Program Oversight, including on‑time and accurate training schedules and deliverables that meet or exceed the Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) specified in the contract.

• Adhere to VA information security and privacy laws/directives; complete required trainings; immediately report (within one hour) suspected security or privacy incidents to the VA Office of Information and Technology (OIT) Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) and notify the COR/CO, as prescribed by the contract.

• Completes required organizational compliance education, including assigned requirements that are client-specified, for Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services certification or other regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

Job Profile

Basic Requirements/Certifications:

• Must possess 3 years of overall professional experience, preferably in a medical and/or federal contracting position.

• Experience guiding contract performance, preferably ensuring compliance with VA policies, managing schedules and deliverables, coordinating across multiple stakeholders, and supporting mandated reporting requirements including congressional reporting.

• Experience as a single accountable point of contact for contracts, enabling effective oversight, risk management, and quality assurance.

Experience in a medical or dental environment, preferably overseeing project management activities, building policies, optimizing processes, and using medical software (e.g., electronic health records), and managing day-to-day operations of enterprise projects.

• Experience supervising operational effectiveness, preferably coordinating communication with medical and non-medical personnel, and ensuring compliance with federal policies such as Medicare, HIPAA, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, labor laws, and more.

Education Required:

• Must possess a bachelor's degree.

Physical Requirements:

• Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment.

•Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.

• May require bending, stooping and lifting up to 15 lbs.

Other Special Qualifications:

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate.

• US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card is required.

• Pass/possess VA Public Trust Clearance.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
