Job Description
The intern will be supporting the Marketing Manager in the evaluation, qualification and monitoring of the mapping of prospects to help lead generation in Switzerland.
The position will be requested at times to deliver ad-hoc projects or requests outside the above scope by the Regional Marketing Manager.
Key responsibilities
Lead Generation support (70%)
Analysing and researching prospects for specific markets and / or verticals:
Consolidate existing databases in Excel
Complete desk research and rank all accounts
Submit database to assess potential, working closely with the Sales team
Define parameters to assess the relative attractiveness of prospect organisation for Intl.SOS services
Advising on tailored messaging to target audiences depending on market and vertical:
Prepare content and trigger calls to action for the Sales team as and when relevant
Database Management : manage the sales & marketing database to ensure data integrity,
Data cleaning and acquisition, compliance with principles in the European Privacy Law:
Develop and monitor marketing analytics dashboard that is used to know and understand better the level of data cleaning by each segment/ sales people
Analytics
Develop a marketing analytics dashboard that is used to continuously refine and improve marketing initiatives and enable the business to make data-driven decisions
Perform regular tracking of marketing performance and integrate recommendations into the design phase as part of continuous improvement process
Develop tools and reports to track progress on marketing activities as per Marketing Strategic Plans
Marketing / Communication (30%)
- Event management: Support the Swiss calendar of events, including International SOS hosted events, co-hosted events with partner organisations, industry events, webinars, internal events and travel fairs with clients.
Communications: Support the creation of targeted communications to clients, verticals and industry associations and adapt to the French / Swiss German market.
Public Relations and Digital Agenda: Be co-responsible for the PR activity including journalist database creation and maintenance, monitoring, tracking and press coverage promotion. Flag interesting coverage and help with reporting. Share best practice within the Regional marketing team.
Support Regional Marketing in digital initiatives such as emailing, social media, video, image editing and analytics
Support Marketing Manager, with the Marketing Automation tool
Qualifications
Required Skills and Knowledge
Analytics skills
Microsoft Office
A plus: Video editing tools, Social media, Linkedin, Salesforce
Email marketing tools and basic HTML understanding
In addition, the candidate will be highly organised with attention to detail, possess project management skills with ability to prioritise and multi-task while working in a busy team, sometimes with tight deadlines under pressure. He/she also has good communications, and business writing and analysis skills. The candidate will be a self-starter and keen to join an entrepreneurial and collegial environment, where innovation plays a pivotal role in business development.
