Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Analyst to join our team and contribute to the optimization of our supply chain operations. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain the SIOP process for the company, including demand planning and inventory management at our distributors. In this role, you will also be responsible for systems administration, reporting and analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, be able to work in a fast-paced environment and possess excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Principle Accountabilities:

ISIOP Process

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and develop and maintain the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process for the company, including demand planning and inventory management at our distributors.
  • Analyze historical data, market trends, and sales forecasts to support demand planning activities and ensure accurate demand projections.
  • Work closely with procurement teams to align supply plans with demand forecasts and optimize inventory levels.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or gaps between demand and supply and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks or shortages. This includes coordination with Distributors, Distribution, Sourcing, and Accounting.
  • Ensure/Track that distribution centers and Franchisee stores submit their purchase order(s) on time and that these are aligned with the forecast.
  • Develop obsolete inventory financial exposure estimates and communicate the result of this analysis to the Supply Chain team.

Systems Administration

  • Administer and maintain the ArrowStream system, ensuring accurate and timely data input and system functionality.
  • Set up new items, vendors, and warehouses within the system.
  • Generate Product Information Forms (Product Data Sheets) for new items and communicate them to warehouses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot system issues and implement necessary enhancements or improvements.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring their understanding and compliance with established processes and procedures.

Reporting & Analysis

  • such as Vendor Cost Confirmation Reports, Warehouse Landed Cost Reports, Price Change Reports, and Store Cost Reports.
  • Partner with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and forecasting for supply chain operations.
  • Conduct financial risk analysis related to excess and obsolete inventory, proactively communicating findings to the Supply Chain team, and implementing countermeasures.
  • Monitor orders, investigate problems, manage invoice receipts, processing, approvals, and obsolete material tracking, collaborating with Distributors, Distribution, Sourcing, and Accounting.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
  • Support ad-hoc data analysis requests from various stakeholders, providing accurate and timely insights to drive decision-making processes.
  • Lead and support supply chain optimization projects, including procurement, network, and inventory optimization.
  • Ensure correct invoicing to stores for test products used during the test market.
  • Reconcile and process warehouse and supplier invoices for NSFPP.

Continuous Improvement

  • Proactively identify areas for improvement within the supply chain function and develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements to drive savings for the franchisee system.

Qualifications

Education and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, accounting, finance, operations management required.
  • Minimum 7+ years of relevant supply chain work experience:
    • Hands-on experience with Supply chain analysis.
    • Experience collaborating with and supporting the sales Operations team with the weekly order management process.
    • Basic knowledge of processes and methods for order management and inventory management.
    • Demonstrate advanced analytical abilities such as parsing complex data sets and information to problem-solve, ideally in an analyst role.
  • Proven experience as a Supply Chain Analyst or similar role, with a focus on SIOP process, production systems administration, and reporting activities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data and translate it into actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management principles, practices, and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with production systems, such as ERP and MES, and experience in system administration is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work output.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
  •  Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and ERP systems.

Work Environment

Most positions located out of our global headquarters in Bloomington, MN will work a hybrid work schedule where you will work 2 collaboration days a week.  Additional in office time may be required to support team/project needs.  Positions will be identified as “remote eligible” when consideration will be given to candidates outside of drivable distance to our Bloomington office.
