As we continue to grow and develop, we are looking for people who want to be part of the journey.

And this is where you come in.

Job Description

At IKEA Museum, food is part of the experience and this is an opportunity to lead a restaurant in a setting unlike most others.  Every year, visitors from around the world come to discover the IKEA story. Our restaurant is an important part of that journey, welcoming museum guests, local visitors and groups.

As Restaurant Manager, you will lead the daily operation, develop the team and continue to strengthen the restaurant's role as part of the IKEA Museum experience. You'll build on a strong foundation while helping the restaurant strengthen its position as a destination in its own right, attracting both museum visitors and local guests. You will also explore new opportunities to create memorable experiences and drive sustainable business results.

Success in this role means engaged co-workers, satisfied guests and a restaurant that continues to grow and develop.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the restaurant with responsibility for operations, guest experience, people and business results.
  • Create a workplace where people feel motivated, supported and able to grow.
  • Secure high standards in food, service and daily operations.
  • Identify and drive improvements that strengthen both the guest experience and business results.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across IKEA Museum and Events to create memorable visitor experiences.
  • Develop talent and future leaders through present and coaching leadership.

Qualifications

Qualifications

We are looking for a Restaurant Manager who wants to combine great hospitality, strong leadership and a passion for developing both people and business. You're a leader who believes that being close to both the operation and the team is key to success.

You know what great hospitality looks like in practice. You enjoy being present in the operation, supporting your team and creating an experience that guests want to return to. Most importantly, you believe that great guest experiences start with engaged and motivated teams.

You don't need to know everything about IKEA Museum or its history from day one. What matters is your curiosity, willingness to learn and ambition to develop both the business and the people around you.

We believe you have:

  • Experience leading teams within restaurants, hospitality or another guest-focused business.
  • Experience managing operations, financial performance and business development.
  • A proven ability to build engaged teams and develop people.
  • Experience driving improvements in service quality, guest satisfaction and operational performance.
  • A hands-on approach and the ability to turn ideas into action.

At IKEA Museum, food, hospitality and the IKEA story come together to create experiences for visitors from around the world. As Restaurant Manager, you'll have the opportunity to influence both the daily guest experience and the future development of the business.

If you enjoy leading people, being present in the operation and creating experiences that make guests want to return, we'd love to hear from you.
