Job Description
We're looking for a Motion & Post Production Manager to lead, develop and future-proof our Motion & Post Production business.
This role combines strategic leadership, business ownership and people development. You will be responsible for the overall performance, development and future direction of the Motion & Post Production area, ensuring that our capabilities continue to evolve in line with business needs, technological advancements and changing customer expectations.
As Motion & Post Production Manager, you will lead through a combination of direct leadership and leadership through leaders.
You will have direct people leadership responsibility for Photographers and Lighting Technicians, while also leading and developing the Team Manager for Motion & Post Production, who is responsible for the daily operational leadership of Retouch & Postproduction Artists, Editors and Post Producers.
You report to the Production Manager and are a member of the Production Leadership Team. Together with your leadership colleagues, you contribute to building a future-ready production organization that combines creativity, operational excellence and business impact.
As a Motion & Post Production Manager you will:
Lead and develop the Motion & Post Production business area, ensuring strong business performance and long-term capability development.
Own the overall business responsibility for Motion & Post Production, including strategic priorities, competence development and future capability planning.
Lead and develop Photographers and Lighting Technicians, creating the conditions for growth, engagement and high performance.
Lead, coach and develop the Team Manager, enabling operational excellence and strong team performance across the wider Motion & Post Production organization.
Drive the transformation towards more dynamic storytelling, scalable content creation and future-oriented production capabilities.
Identify and implement opportunities within AI, automation and new production technologies to strengthen creativity, efficiency and business value.
Secure a modern, scalable and flexible production environment in close collaboration with internal stakeholders across creative, production and business functions.
Drive continuous improvement of workflows, tools, processes and ways of working.
Ensure high-quality, consistent and cost-effective content delivery through strong governance, clear processes and best practice implementation.
Define future competence needs and secure succession planning and capability growth across the function.
Foster an inclusive, collaborative and psychologically safe culture where creativity, curiosity and continuous learning thrive.
Build and maintain strong internal and external networks to bring inspiration, innovation and industry insights into the business.
Qualifications
We believe you are an experienced leader with the ability to balance strategic thinking, business priorities and people development.
You have:
Several years of experience in a leadership role with responsibility for people, business and organizational development.
Experience leading creative, production or specialist teams within photography, motion media, post production or content creation.
Experience leading through leaders and creating conditions for others to succeed.
Strong understanding of photography, motion media and post production workflows, tools and production methods.
Good understanding of emerging technologies, AI and automation and how they can be applied in creative and production environments.
Experience driving change, transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trust and collaboration across functions.
The ability to translate strategic direction into actionable priorities and sustainable results.
Strong communication, planning and decision-making skills.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
It is a strong merit if you have:
Experience from leading organizations through digital transformation.
Experience working with virtual production, remote production workflows or AI-enabled production environments.
Experience from large-scale content production and omnichannel communication.
