Job Description

As a Product Engineer – Ceramics, you will be responsible for bringing products from development into successful production. Working closely with suppliers and cross-functional teams, you will secure that products meet requirements for quality, compliance, functionality, sustainability, and affordability.

This is an exciting opportunity to combine product development, manufacturing, and supplier collaboration while contributing to products that make a difference for the many people.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the implementation of new products, product changes, and product improvements.
  • Securing product readiness through risk assessments, testing, validation, and technical documentation.
  • Supporting suppliers during industrialization and production start-up activities.
  • Driving product quality and compliance, including managing deviations and improvement actions.
  • Developing supplier capabilities and supporting continuous improvements in production performance.
  • Building strong partnerships with suppliers and stakeholders across product development, sourcing, and supply.
  • Contributing to material development and sustainability ambitions within the category.

Qualifications

We believe you have experience within product engineering, manufacturing, quality, supplier development, or a related field and enjoy turning product ideas into successful production solutions.

To be successful in this role, you bring:

  • Experience from product implementation, industrialization, manufacturing, or product development.
  • Knowledge of production processes, materials, quality requirements, and technical documentation.
  • The ability to identify risks, solve technical challenges, and drive continuous improvements.
  • Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working.
  • Professional proficiency in English.

Experience from ceramics manufacturing, product development, or related material-intensive industries is highly valued. At the same time, we welcome candidates from other manufacturing industries who bring strong product engineering and supplier development experience.
