Are you someone who can bridge enterprise finance systems, modern engineering practices, and a data-as-a-product mindset?
You will lead the engineering delivery and technical evolution of Finance, Treasury, and Business Performance platforms and data products, working in close partnership with Product Managers who own product vision, value, and prioritisation.
The role spans financial transaction platforms, planning and performance management solutions, treasury capabilities, and the data products that enable financial and business decision-making across Inter IKEA.
The role is accountable for how modernisation is delivered: engineering excellence, platform health, scalability, and team performance—while contributing actively to what is built through close collaboration with Product.
Job Description
You are a curious, inclusive and people‑focused Software Engineering Manager who enjoys bringing talented engineers together around a clear purpose. You care deeply about helping teams grow, feel supported, and do their best work — while also shaping strong technical foundations. As part of this role you will be working to support Finance/Treasury and Business performance data products.
You have experience leading engineering teams working across SAP‑centric finance platforms, integrations and APIs, and data engineering and data products. You enjoy modernising complex landscapes and feel energised by taking finance systems on a journey — from legacy solutions to SAP S/4HANA — creating something simpler, more reliable and more future‑ready along the way.
You understand the importance of SAP as a trusted system of record, while enabling modern data platforms to make finance data easy to access and use across the organisation. You work closely with colleagues in Finance, Controlling, Data, Architecture and Platform teams, building strong relationships and finding the best paths forward together.
You believe that great engineering is built on strong foundations. You promote modern engineering practices such as CI/CD, automation and quality controls, and you care about building solutions that are secure, compliant and ready for audit — without losing sight of usability or value.
You have a clear data‑as‑a‑product mindset, helping teams create data products with clear ownership, shared responsibility and agreed quality standards. Above all, you are a thoughtful moderniser: someone who balances speed with stability, delivery with sustainability, and business outcomes with long‑term architecture — always with people at the heart of what you do
