Job Description

Data & Analytics is a growing and reasonably new function within the Data & Technology department. We have the ambition of securing access to data, competence and the right tools for all parts of the organization. We are working closely every day with the business and teams that delivers cutting edge, data driven solutions to the many IKEA customers and co-workers.  

As a Digital Product Leader, you will support the organization in leveraging solutions that meet business needs and requirements. You help shaping ideas into concrete digital product features that delivers business value. This by securing the release plan, communication and setting expectations for the deliverables. Sometimes you will also be the one who is leading the initiatives.   

You partner with your colleagues and are able to take their needs and demands and turn them into business value. You are regularly involved in activities and meetings with stakeholders to determine large and small opportunities where data products (existing and not yet existing) could help the organization to better reach its goals and work in a more efficient way. 
 
To maximize the value of the digital product you will work closely with the rest of the organization, moving seamlessly between business and digital specialists. You will collaborate closely with other stakeholders and colleagues within Range and across different core businesses in Inter IKEA group. 

This role will also secure that the digital product maximizes the business value, controlling the costs and giving input to the overall budget 

You will: 

  • Lead and manage a digital product and establish a process to maximize the connected value over the lifecycle. 
  • Support connected initiatives in the digital space to maximize the value delivered. 
  • Help the organisation to understand how your digital assets can be used to maximize their value for IKEA. 
  • Drive continuous improvement, collaboration and knowledge sharing around the digital assets you lead. 
  • Ensure quality and consistency by supporting the use of relevant development techniques, digital frameworks, and best practices. 

Qualifications

You have the ability to communicate and creating trustful relationships in collaborative processes as well as visualising concepts and ideas.  You should also be able to stimulate creative ideas and perspectives with the ambition to add business value. Beyond that you are comfortable in balancing several stakeholders and agendas simultaneously.  

Key previous experiences and proven skills 

  • Strong business acumen and a strategic and commercial mind-set 
  • Experience in delivering on a vision in a prioritized step-by-step approach 
  • Knowledge and experience working with various technology platforms  
  • Experience working with and understanding the needs of customers (internal or external)  
  • Proven analytical skills and experience making business decisions based on data  
  • Strong communication skills with business and technical stakeholders 
  • Strong team working and collaboration skills

We are now establishing a Data & technology department in Core business Range, with the assignment to lead by holding together data & technology in the core business. All with the purpose to enable business movements.   

We are looking for setting the competence agenda based on business needs and towards upskilling and reskilling of competences in data & tech area to a new and exciting level.
