In this exciting journey we are looking for a Project Leader, that is passionate about finding new ways, and working together across working across organization and functions to develop IKEA’s future capabilities. In this role you will be leading the development and implementation of capabilities to enable the connection of data across IKEA´s value chain.

We have an ambition enable a connected flow of product information, through global identifiers and well-defined standardized structures for identifying, capturing, and sharing data. A precondition for transparency and traceability across IKEA, enabling better ways of working through many of our processes and consequently creating a more relevant customer experience.

Job Description

As project leader you will be responsible for one or several initiatives to implement new global identifiers through the GS1 standard. You will work together with a team of experts, Business Analysts and Solution Architects to continuously within the areas of identify capture and share product information. Besides leading an initiative, you will be an ambassador, continuously sharing your knowledge and finding opportunities with our business colleagues. You are curios, delivery oriented, and have a strong passion for bringing people together.

You are a team player who is motivated by driving and delivering results together with people.

We also believe that you have a combination of the following knowledge and capabilities:

  • Experience of leading projects in a global context with a focus on business development, or process development and implementation.
  • Proven track record of running successful initiatives and projects.
  • Good leadership skills and the ability to secure buy-in, realise benefits and deliver business impact.
  • You can communicate fluently and effectively in English both writing and speaking
  • You have excellent communication and networking skills
  • You lead and act as a role model with the IKEA Culture and values always in mind in your daily work

About us

IKEA Core Business Supply is responsible for securing that the product offer is produced and delivered to our customers. We lead the supply agenda across many functions and work together with all business areas, different business units, but also retail markets to secure customer availability in all markets and sales channels at lowest total cost.

By this we will also create the preconditions to a world class supply chain that enable IKEA to efficiently respond to the ever-changing customer needs.
